GotM Oct ’10 – VVVVVV

Welcome to October’s Game of the Month. This moth, I’ve been playing a great puzzle/platformer by the name of VVVVVV…

VVVVVV is a rather uncoventional PC platformer, where instead of jumping, you flip the gravity of the world around you. This, coupled with the fantiscally hard level design, make this one of the most fiendish games I’ve played in a long while… Within an hour of gameplay, I think I died around 150 times or so…

While it may not be the easiest to play, it’s increadably nice to look at. The 8-bit styled worlds look fresh and vibrant, especially in fullscreen. As for  the soundtrack… Well, let’s just say it’s the icing on this gavity-flipping cake.

And the best part? As long as you have the internet, you can get this game! It’s on Steam for only £3.99… Man, I should be in advertising…

A great, yet deviously tricky game, with a funky reto style. And what I’ve been playing this month.
